What To Expect

We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions.

When are Services?
Sunday service times are 9:30AM and 11AM. Each service is identical in content. The Mid-Cities Café is open before and after services for breakfast burritos and coffee.

What does a Mid-Cities service look like?
A typical service at Mid-Cities is contemporary and relevant. The service begins with upbeat praise and worship led by our gifted musicians and singers. Our services include several multi-media elements. You will find yourself engaged through a powerful message usually given by our senior pastor, Daniel Stephens. After the service is dismissed, leaders are available at the front of the church to pray with individuals and/or answer any questions you may have.

How do you recognize guests during a service?
We are always thankful to have guests in our services. In an effort to help you feel welcome and comfortable, we do not single out guests. We simply acknowledge that guests are present, thank you for coming, and encourage you to complete a Communication Card and take it the kiosk after the service.

Where do I take my children?
We have children’s check-in stations located in the City Center. All children birth through fifth grade is required to check in each week. Our friendly Mid-Cities Kids staff will greet you and instruct you to the appropriate room to meet your child’s teacher.

  • Birth through kindergarten is located in Kid-Cities each service.
  • Grades 1-3 meet in Elevate each service.
  • Grades 4-5 meet in Refuel each service.

What security do you provide for my children?
We take security seriously. All children receive a printed name tag with a matching parent/child ID tag. The parent must present the matching ID tag when picking the child up. No child is released without the proper ID tag. We also have professional security guards on site to monitor our facilities throughout weekend services.

What should I wear?
You will find a wide range of attire; most people at Mid-Cities Church prefer casual dress. We know that God is much more concerned with the person’s heart than their clothes.

Where can I get assistance when I arrive at Mid-Cities?
We have friendly staff at the kiosks located in the main foyer across from the sanctuary to answer your questions and assist you in finding classes and buildings on the campus.

How do I get connected?
It's never been easier to get connected! Next Steps is our assimilation process to get you connected and provide you with more information on who we are, where we serve, and how we grow. Mid-Cities 101 is the first of our Next Steps process.
