Senior Pastor
Daniel grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska. He later moved to Texas and attended Texas Tech University where he graduated with a BBA in Marketing. He and his wife Kayla met in Lubbock and married in 2001. They are now parents of twin boys, Jonah and Jude, and daughter Kampbell. Before moving to Midland in 2002, he was on staff at Trinity Church in Lubbock as a youth pastor. Daniel served Mid-Cities as Pastor over Children and Youth until January of 2006, when he assumed the role of Senior Pastor. Daniel's passion for ministry is "loving God and loving people."

Assistant to the Senior Pastor
Susie was born in El Paso, Texas but raised in Odessa. She attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio as a Biology major. She has four children - two girls and two twin boys. She has been a member of Mid-Cities since 1997 and joined the MCC staff in July of 2004. Her primary responsibilities are to oversee the Hospitality Team, to assist in the coordinating of special events at Mid-Cities and to function as the administrative assistant to our senior pastor, Daniel Stephens. Susie's passion for Ministry is "to love, nurture and teach the next generation, and to give them the tools they need to be dynamic disciples of Christ and strong, godly leaders."

Senior Associate Pastor
Pastor Mickey grew up in Lubbock, Texas, graduated from Texas Tech in 1993 with a degree in Communication Studies, and then completed a Master of Arts in Religion at Wayland Baptist University in 1999. He entered vocational ministry in 1992. Mickey and Bonnie were married in 1993 and now have two children. His duties on staff include overseeing all ministries, working with the staff, and adult equipping classes. His passion for ministry includes rubbing shoulders with unchurched people and helping others draw closer to Christ.

Traci grew up in Odessa, and briefly lived in Afghanistan, where she met her husband, Romel. She has attended Midcities for 9 years and has focused her attention on college ministry and lighting ministry. Currently, she and Romel are leaders of the Intercessory Prayer Team. Her primary responsibilities are data entry and maintenance of the church database. Her passion for ministry is to "see people take leaps of faith and see how the Lord meets them and blesses them."

Chris grew up in Midland and graduated from UTPB with a BBA in management. He joined the MCC staff in January of 2004 and married his wife Lesley in July of 2005. His primary responsibilities are to oversee and execute all issues related to business and finance at Mid-Cities. His passion for ministry is "to run God's house in the most efficient, effective, and ethical manner possible and to experience God's power the way the first century church experienced that power."

Financial Administrator
Keresa was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. She graduated in May of 2007 from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Keresa has attended Mid-Cities for the past 15 years and has been involved in such ministries as youth, choir, and nursery. She joined the Mid-Cities staff in May of 2007. Her primary responsibilities include processing and posting all contributions and preparing for all year end accounting. Keresa's passion is to "see God actively revealing Himself to His people as they passionately pursue Him."

Cindy grew up in Topeka, KS. She graduated from Washburn University in Topeka with a BA in History/Secondary education. Later she completed her Masters in Library Media education at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. Cindy has been a teacher, an elementary school librarian, and a legal librarian at Cotton, Bledsoe before joining the MCC staff in Sept. 2008. She has 3 grown sons and 1 granddaughter. Her primary responsibilities are to oversee all Human Resource functions, payroll, and business activities at MCC. Cindy’s passion for ministry is “making sure everything runs smoothly.”

Family Financial Counselor
Bonnie was raised on a farm south of Lubbock. She received her Bachelors's degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management from Texas Tech in 1993. Several years later, she realized that what she really enjoys is helping people with their finances. That led to a Master's Degree in Family Financial Planning. Now she has the opportunity to raise her children, assist her husband in ministry, and partner with people as they discover God's plan for His money! She is available to coach couples or individuals through the budgeting process, help develop a plan for debt reduction, and teach principles of God's economy.

John grew up in Kermit and Odessa. He married his wife Julie in 1981 and has two daughters and a son. He joined the Mid-Cities staff in 2003 as Facilities Director. His primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the physical facility and property of the Mid-Cities campus and office location which includes maintenance, repair, security, grounds, and usage. His passion for ministry is "to serve and meet the needs of people."

Joe Bower
Custodian
Joe and his wife Daisy Mae were married in 1962 and have been attending Mid-Cities Community Church since 1982. They first came to Mid-Cities when it was known as Word of Life Church that met in the old Sandpiper motel. Joe remembers there were 60 congregants at that time and that it was an “Oasis in a desert place”. Joe and Daisy Mae have 4 wonderful children: Rebecca, Rachel, Abigail, and Matthew. Joe is very thankful for being a part of Mid-Cities Community Church and has a desire to serve and touch the lives of all the people that God continues to send his way.

Daniel Gallegos
Custodian
Daniel was born in Lamesa and raised in Hobbs, NM. Daniel moved to Odessa in 2002 where and he and Adriana were married latter that year. Daniel and Adriana have three beautiful children. The Gallegos started attending Mid-Cities in 2004. Daniel joined the Mid-Cities staff in 2009 and currently serves as a custodian. Daniel and Adriana also assist with Mid-Cities en Español. Daniel's passion for ministry is to share the gospel with everyone, while becoming the man Christ intended him to be before the creation of time.

Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries
Jim grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University in Oklahoma. Jim owned and operated businesses for many years and joined the Mid-Cities staff in October of 2003. His primary responsibilities are oversight of our Life Group ministry and our Men's Ministry. He married Becky in 1968. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. Jim also serves as an elder at MCC. Jim's passion for ministry is "connecting people to God and to one another."

Tom grew up in Amarillo, Texas but has lived in Midland since 1981. He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso, did graduate studies at Texas Tech and Abilene Christian University and has been in full time ministry for 28 years. He is married to Susan and has two grown daughters. His primary responsibilities are to give oversight to the Singles Ministry, Divorce Recovery, Women's Ministry, Foundations First and Victory Weekends. His passion for ministry is "to help broken and wounded people find healing and wholeness in Jesus Christ."

Julie grew up in Odessa, Texas. She married her husband John in 1981 and has two daughters and a son. She previously worked in the insurance industry and taught at a private Christian school. Julie joined the MCC staff in 2004. Her primary responsibilities are to assist the "adult ministries" pastors in every aspect of their work with Singles Ministry, Women's Ministry, and College Ministry. Her passion for ministry is "for people to know that Jesus loves them unconditionally, that He gave His life for them on an individual basis, and that they learn to accept that love and walk with Him in a way that is pleasing to Him."

Children's Pastor
Andrew grew up in Duncanville, TX. He is a Texas Tech graduate and married his wife Allie in August of 2005. Andrew served as Program Director of Unlock Ministries (a non-profit ministry to at-risk children in the Permian Basin) for two years before joining the Mid-Cities staff in 2006. His primary responsibilities are to maintain oversight and development of all our ministries to children from nursery through elementary age. His passion for ministry is that "people will know and understand the love of Jesus Christ and walk that out in their daily lives."

Sheila grew up in Odessa, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science from The University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. She has been involved in both Music & Children’s Ministries. Sheila joined the Mid-Cities staff in September of 2007. Her primary responsibilities are to provide administrative support to Associate Pastor Jim Martin for Life Groups, Men’s Ministry, Host Ministries (ushers, greeters, etc.), & Foundations First. Her passion for ministry is “to encourage others to celebrate the gifts God has given them, and to inspire hope through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.”

Pastor of Worship, Creative Arts, and Missions
Chris grew up in Odessa, Texas and received a B.A in Political Science at UTPB. Chris taught music lessons and traveled as a professional musician for several years before coming on staff at Mid-Cities in 2005 on a part time basis and then as a full time member of the staff in 2007. Chris married his wife Sheila in 2007 and they now have a son, Parker. His primary responsibilities are to provide oversight for the Worship Ministry, Creative Arts Ministry, Media Ministry, and College Ministry. In addition Chris organizes and leads short term mission trips around the world. His passion for ministry is "to use the gifts that God has placed in me so that He may be glorified. My goal is that the Gospel would be spread and disciples would be made."

Angie grew up in Stanton and graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in 2003 specializing in Children’s Ministry. Angie worked alongside Calvary International as a full time missionary in the Philippines for 4 years. She joined our staff in May 2008. Her duties include assisting Pastor Chris Davis in the Worship department and coordinating Early Childhood for nursery through 5 years old. Her passion for ministry is to provide a safe environment for our children to come and learn about Jesus’ love.

High School Pastor
Ben grew up in Midland, Texas. He graduated from UTPB with a BBA in Management. Before joining the MCC staff, Ben worked in the business sector in computer networking and internet services. He became a member of the staff at Mid-Cities in 2003. His primary responsibilities are developing outreach to teens in the Permian Basin, assimilating those teens into the Box youth ministry and helping them mature as followers of Jesus Christ. His passion for ministry is "to see a generation of teenagers who come to know, hear, and see God."

Dustin grew up in Odessa, Texas, and received a BBA in Marketing from UTPB in 2004. Before he joined the MCC staff, Dustin worked in sales in the oilfield, while volunteering for the last 6 years as a youth leader at MCC. He is married to Kara and they have a son, Kaden, and daughter, Adeline. His responsibilities on staff include pastoring junior high students through the Thrive ministry. His passion for ministry is that “we would learn to love God as He loved us, and devote our lives to bring Him glory.”

Alli Todd was born and raised in Midland, Texas and currently attends Midland College. She has been actively involved in serving the junior high and high school youth ministries. She was married in July of 2009 and plans to be involved in the mission field. Her passion is, "to live radically for Christ everyday and reach out to others though the talents and gifts God has given me. I want others to have the joy that I have.”

Daniel grew up in Hobbs, NM and moved to Odessa in 1982. Daniel and Mari married in 1985 and have three children and two granddaughters. They began attending Mid-Cities in 2001 and God’s call to lead Mid-Cities en Español became a reality in 2009. Daniel works full-time outside the church and is the lead pastor for Mid-Cities en Español.

Adrian grew up in Odessa Texas where he traveled in a band professionally after graduating from Odessa High School. Adrian and Jackee married in 2004 and now have two children. Adrian joined the Mid-Cities staff in 2009 to administrate the ministries and lead worship for Mid-Cities en Español. His passion for ministry is “Connecting people to the heart of God.”

Lane grew up in Livingston, Texas, and graduated with a BA in Music from East Texas Baptist University. For seven years Lane traveled nationally as a worship leader for youth and college events. He joined the Mid-Cities staff in November of 2005. His primary responsibilities include Sunday morning worship leading and directing, preparing for team rehearsals, and creating and editing videos. His passion for ministry is "to bring the life changing truth of Jesus Christ, His power, His victory, His hope and His love to people through music and media."
