There are a number of ministries at MCC that are staffed completely by volunteers. These are essential ministries that may go unnoticed by many but without which congregational life at Mid-Cities could not happen. Jesus said that the greatest in the kingdom must be the servant of all. Those willing servants who fill these roles are truly great in the kingdom and to all of us who know how critical these servants are. If you want to serve in any of these areas, fell free to contact the ministry leader who is listed.
Café MCC is our gathering place for members and guests before and after services on Sunday mornings. This ministry sets up the conservatory, makes coffee, sets out food and other drinks and hosts the Café each week. A warm spirit and a great smile are essential for this ministry.

The Children’s Ministry is a place for those who have a desire to impact a child’s life with the Word of God and the love of Jesus. From Nursery to 6th Grade, we minister to the children each week through songs, Bible lessons, crafts, games, and a variety of activities that are designed to help them understand the Bible and God’s plan for their life. If you would like to show the love of Christ in a real and practical way and have a heart for children, we have a place for you.

Greeters are stationed at the doors each time services are held at Mid-Cities to welcome members and guests and to give them any directions they may need to find their way around our facilities. A genuine smile and handshake communicates a powerful message of love and acceptance to those who attend MCC. Must be willing to greet bi-weekly.

Our guest follow-up team telephones first time guests to thank them for their attendance and answer questions they may have. This team does not need to know all of the answers, but are willing to connect people with someone who does. Communicating warmth, openness, and a sense of welcome via the telephone is essential.
