A few things about me you should know:
I have an amazing wife whom I love deeply named Kayla. We have three children. Twin boys Jonah & Jude (2005) & one daughter Kampbell Hope (2009). I was called into the ministry at 16 years old through a prophetic word at a youth camp in Silver Cliff Colorado. I enjoy an occasional chick flick. I lose pens regularly. I believe God is amazing and that knowing Him will change us forever!
How did I get to Mid-Cities?
I served on staff at Trinity Church in Lubbock Texas in various capacities from 1998 until 2002. God led us to Mid-Cities originally as a youth pastor, eventually I assumed responsibility for the children’s ministry, and in 2006 I was ordained as the Senior Pastor. I suppose if you can keep the attention of 7th graders then adults are not a problem!
Where is Mid-Cities headed?
I believe we can touch the world from right here in the Permian Basin. I believe that God shows us in the Bible that he wants His people to REACH out into the community, GROW up in the knowledge of Him, and SEND people to our community and the world with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. As a church we want to be intentional with how we live, authentic in how we live it, and lead by the Holy Spirit in everything we do.
