What are adult equipping classes?

Adult equipping classes are short-term Sunday morning classes for you to grow in specific areas of your life in Christ. We offer a limited number of classes under six different tracks. Within each track, a variety of classes will be offered to help you build a broader foundation in these areas:

• Marriage & Family
• Financial Stewardship
• Freedom Ministry
• Evangelism & Missions

We also offer Bible Studies in our Women's small groups

This seminar is an essential eight week series for finding freedom in Christ. It will provide foundational faith and knowledge with which every believer may overcome the destructive work of Satan in his life through Jesus Christ. Space is limited.

Prayer that Moves Heaven

The apostle Paul declared that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness in heavenly realms . He also tells us that we have been given divine weapons with which we can face life and the enemy. The bible teaches again and again that prayer is the most powerful weapon in the believer’s arsenal but often it is our least used weapon. If you want to “ramp up” your prayer life and learn to enter the throne room of God to experience his presence, this class is for you. Registration Limited to 36


Living by the Book - The Art and Science of Reading the Bible

Many of us want to get more out of our time in the Word but are frustrated because we want to set the plow deeper but don’t really know how. This class will teach you effective methods for getting the most out of your time in the word. It will teach you how to use study tools that will unlock the scriptures in ways you may have never known. This class is for anyone who wants to go deeper but who has felt limited in their study. Blessing and Cursing: Power in the Spiritual Realm

Beginning April 7th - 7pm to 8:30pm

The Bible declares that blessings and curses are more than a sentiment. Words and actions create consequences, especially in the spiritual realm. This study will explore the biblical truths related to blessings and curses, how they are established, the evidence of each, how the power of Christ can break curses and how we can bestow blessings as his representatives in the earth. The Book of James: A Textual Study

The Book of James is one of the most challenging yet practical books in the New Testament. It discusses prayer, the nature of saving faith, the power of our words, authentic discipleship, and healing in the church. This textual study will take you verse by verse through the book letting God speak to you about all kinds of issues in your life. This is one of the most effective ways to study the word of God. Knowing God: The Doctrine of God

How do we know God exists? Can we really know God? What is God like? What about creation versus evolution? Join us as we discover answers to these questions and more as we explore the nature and character of God. Registration limited to 36

This interactive class is a video/discussion series with Jimmy Evans sharing the essentials of marriage based on our relationship with Jesus. This series will help you prioritize your life, understand your mate, communicate in ways that one another can hear, set a framework for decisions, and much, much more. This is one of the best marriage series ever produced. If you want to grow your marriage, stay on track in a great marriage, or be reminded of the things you need to return to in your marriage, this will be a great series for you. Parenting Teens with Love and Logic: Ages Junior High thru High School

Beginning April 7th - 7pm to 8:30pm

Parents want to enjoy their kids, have fun with them, and enjoy a less stressful family life. This is an approach to raising kids that provides loving support from parents while at the same time expecting kids to be respectful and responsible. This interactive class can be a gold mine for parents who need a few more tools to navigate the challenging waters of parenting. Uniquely You: Discovering Your God-given Gifts and Temperament for Serving in the Kingdom of God

Beginning April 7th - 7pm to 8:30pm

This course will explore biblical teachings about spiritual gifts and your unique, God-given temperament downloaded by God when you were conceived. You will have opportunities to take inventories designed to help you understand your temperament and to discover your spiritual gifts. In turn, you will learn how to use this information to sense God’s purposes and plans for you in His kingdom. Registration limited to 42.


Dare To Be a Daniel

Beginning April 7th


Dare to be a Daniel is a new evangelist program offered by Kid-Cities that was created to help youth and children share their faith in Jesus with others. The bible tells us that at an early age, Daniel purposed his heart that he would obey God and be faithful to him. Daniel’s life shows us that one young man or woman no matter his or her age can make a difference. Through this fun and interactive class they are given simple steps and tools they can use when telling others about Christ. April 7
