Registration:
Prior to taking the children to their classes, each child is given a nametag with an assigned number, and the parents are given a card containing that number. If the parent is needed during service, the number will be displayed on the large screens in the main sanctuary. The registration tables are located in the main foyer of the Children's Building.
dare to be a daniel
Dare to be a Daniel is a new evangelist program offered by Kid-Cities that was created to help youth and children share their faith in Jesus with others. The bible tells us that at an early age, Daniel purposed his heart that he would obey God and be faithful to him. Daniel’s life shows us that one young man or woman no matter his or her age – can make a difference. Through this fun and interactive class they are given simple steps and tools they can use when telling others about Christ. April 7

1-4th Grade
9:15 a.m.
Our first service of the morning called “Empowering Kids” is focused on helping kids realize that God has authorized them, as children of God, to walk in his Holy Spirit every day. This winter and spring we will be teaching through an eight week adventure called “No: Mission Impossible” that tells us what it means to evangelize or to go into the world and teach others about Jesus. We will also be going through an eight week series called “What’s Bugging You” that will teach kids why we were created and what their purpose is . This service will feature high-energy games, crafts, and a “kid-friendly” worship experience.
11 a.m.
Our second service, called the Path, will be a high-energy version of church for kids including worship, a message, and small groups. During the winter and spring we will be studying God’s word, the bible, and why it should have an impact on our lives, peer pressure, spiritual disciples for kids, and finally, we will answer the question, “Why do bad things happen.” “The Path” will be centered around a large group worship service which breaks out into a small group format to explore each of these topics a little bit deeper.
5th & 6th Grade
Our 5th and 6th grade ministry called “Refuel” is focused on providing a safe place for “Tweens” to come and ask the serious questions that they face every day about God. We consider this to be a pivotal time in a child’s life and we believe that God is drawing our 5th and 6th grade students to himself through his Holy Spirit every day. This winter and spring our 5th and 6th grade students will continue to work through some very hard questions such as “What if I pray and God says no, How Do I know God’s Voice, and Why are there so many churches?” Come, check us out and invite a friend!
